                                                              Chapter Two:
                                                                                On the Road/Driving

Driving on the parkways and Interstate is always challenging and, as was noted, the sheer volume can slow things down, particularly during “rush” hour.  However, you can be driving during the middle of the day (as we retired folks are wont to do) and suddenly, out of NOWHERE, you are in bumper-to-bumper traffic!

              Why?

One simple reason: Suburbo drivers suffer, apparently, from some kind of automotive amnesia.  This is particularly apparent when flashing lights appear!!!  Yup, if there are flashing lights anywhere, for any reason, the Suburbo parkways and Interstates come to a grinding halt, as if the drivers have never seen a flashing light before.

Here’s the visual representation of what we’re talking about.

Thanks for reading and have a great week.
