Wilbur's Suburbo: Chapter One

     Well, it's Holy Week, Passover weekend, etc. but we continue to descend the Suburbo's stairway.  This page, as you can see, focuses on another unique aspect of grocery shopping in suburbia: children!

        Those who know me are well aware that I'm not particularly "good" with younger kids.  I loved teaching high school and have no problem relating to teen-agers.  Kids who are younger than that, however, are a total mystery to me --- my decision not to have & raise children seems a good one, indeed.  

         Being "of a certain age," I also have difficulty watching the "parenting" philosphies (& "skills?") of younger generations of adults.  There's a Chapter later in this Suburbo specifically about Kids, but the opening salvo appears today, observing parents & children in grocery stores.  I'll let the pictures tell the story.
